Designed for those who want to spend more time enjoying their Plunge Pool, rather than dosing it, our Gold Package is designed to self maintain your Plunge Pool.
So how does it work?
All AstralPool Gold Packages in our Plunge Pool range include a Viron eQuilibrium EQ18 Chlorinator with pH & ORP Probe as well as our MagnaPool chemical system. MagnaPool is mineral based which means it doesn’t affect eczema and psoriasis and leaves the water looking crystal clear and feeling gentle and soothing. It is also made of a unique blend of minerals that replicate the therapeutic and healing properties of the dead sea. There is a range of benefits for using MagnaPool in your Plunge Pool. With our Gold Package start up is easy, just add the required amount of MagnaPool (determined by the size of Pool) then let your chlorinator take care of the rest.
The ORP on your Viron eQuilibrium EQ18 Chlorinator will automatically adjust your sanitisation level (MagnaPool) until more MagnaPool needs to be added to the Pool (approx. once a year, though may be twice a year.*) This results in less maintenance from our customers as the ORP level (sanitiser level) can constantly change due to factors such as if your Plunge Pool has a hardcover or not, top ups of water, water temperature and more.
The pH Probe works similar to the ORP Probe and is used to automatically adjust and maintain a correct pH level.
Maintaining a correct pH balance is essential to all vessels of water, failure to do so has been known to corrode equipment as well as leave swimmers with itchy skin and red eyes. By having our self adjusting Probe system (inclusive in our Gold Equipment Packages) on our Plunge Pools you will have almost no maintenance. The only thing you will need to do is occasionally do a water test to ensure that everything is working correctly, and that your sanitiser level is within range.
To further enhance the maintenance free of your Plunge Pool we recommend one of our upgrade finishing options, the Aqualux Pool Interior (available for selected pools only). This pool membrane finish is cost effective and features a smooth to the touch finish and features UV inhibitors, meaning that the Plunge Pool won’t be affected by ‘black spot algae,’ which can sometimes occur with other finishing options.
